Dunsan-dong Otgol Village, where the old atmosphere of the Chosun Dynasty is present
Otgol Village_a traditional hanok village that has been passed down for nearly 400 years after Choi Dongjib settled down there in 1616 at the middle of the Chosun Dynasty.
It is a historical reference and a cultural heritage that shows the construction and lifestyle of yangbans during that era.

Otgol Village- boasts traditional beauty all four seasons.

Currently, there are 40 residents who live in the 20 houses here. This place is the head house of the Choi family.


This house was built by Daeam Choi Dongjib, a scholar when Injo ruled Chosun, after he settled down at Otgol in 1616, and is the oldest Chosun dynasty house in Daegu.
This place, where many buildings compose a harmony, serves as a valuable reference for researching the houses of yangbans and their lifestyles during the Chosun dynasty.



Otgol Village, which possesses a typical landscape that faces water and has mountains behind it, was the filming site for Running Man recently and is also receiving spotlight as an experience village for tourists.


Where you can spend the night, and enjoy various hands on experiences like riding a four legged palanquin, wearing hanbok, learning to do a deep bow, and making rice cake!
