The Traditional Korean village of Keimyung University's Seongseo campus - written by John George English, Daegu tour supporter

Keimyung University's Seongseo campus has a traditional Korean village that is the perfect spot to have an autumn stroll while admiring the beauty of the seasonal changes that this time of year provides. Located off Keimyung University station on the Daegu subway line, it is based in the SeongSeo area of Daegu.

A large church that is visible in the hills as you enter the main entrance is the Adams Chapel where the summit of the campus is. Below this church is a series of paths littered with Korean traditional buildings, structures, and architecture.

Highlights include a Korean traditional hut over a large pond that is ideal for anybody looking to find a little peace or practice some meditation, and a small village area that has also been used in Korean TV dramas due to its historic accuracy and magnificent structure; a very worthwhile visit at this time of year for people of all ages and group sizes.

I saw a group of young schoolchildren who seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the beauty and wonders of the nature&art this site provides. They were enjoying it as much as if not more than the Keimyung students and older visitors!
