No.1 Daegu Money Museum

Here at Daegu Money Museum, you can trace back the history of currency from ancient to modern era. Money has been a crucial part of human history. You will get to learn about world history through the history of money. One section presents a wide collection of Korean currencies while another room displays those of the rest of the world. Discover more than 1,800 coins, bills and related items from 65 countries!

No.2 Daegu Literature Museum



Daegu Literature Museum presents a collection of Daegu literature from 1920’s to 1960’s. In addition to its display, it offers tours and workshops to help visitors understand history and context of the novels. Daegu Literature Museum also has numerous cultural programs for everyone at different age groups such as seminars, mentoring and lectures.You can also find "Happy Library" where you can read books by Daegu writers and a station where you can make your own postcards and mail them. Hangchon Culture Center is located in the same building. One of the most popular things at the center is the street that reproduces old days of Korea.

No.3 Yangyeongsi Museum of Oriental Medicine


Located on Yanyeongsi in Donsungro, Yangyeongsi Museum was founded to preserve and celebrate Yangyeongsi, one of the three traditional medicine ingredient markets in Korea. Yangyeonsil has been an international hub for oriental medicine ingredient trade. It has provided quality products to various countries such as Japan, China, Russia and other European countries. In Beside exhibition, you can relax at Yangyeong Park and herb garden located in the museum. Another best way to enjoy this museum is to join hands-on experience programs.
