The 11^th National New Year’s Naked Marathon

A fun event is coming up this weekend! The 11^th National New Year’s Naked Marathon is taking place at Duryu Baseball Stadium. Application is done in the late December but you can still come out for some hot kimchi jjigae and watch this unusual event! Participants will run for 5km or 10km. Total 2.1 million won will be given to top runners. The course will start at the stadium and run along the outer edge of parks clockwise.

E-world Starlight Festival

The brightest winter festival, Starlight Festival, continues through January. 10 million lights illuminate winter night. Its 200-meter light road, “Umbrella Road” is a must-check at this festival! Also, there is a proposal stairs where romantic 10,000 LED roses are decorated.

Moomin Original Drawing Exhibition

Your favorite comic book character, Moomin, has arrived in Daegu! From the beginning to today’s  Moomin stories, you will be able to see drawings in their originals.  You can also have a coveted glimpse at the life and art world of Tove Jansson, the illustrator of Moomin stories. There are also hand-on experience zone that children love!

Musical “Cats”

The most famous musical in Korea, Cats, has come back to Daegu! Cats has set the record of exceeding total 2 million viewers in Korea last month.
