2012 Colorful Daegu Festival will be held from October 10^th to 16^th. We are seeking people who will participate in the Colorful Parade which is one of the main programs of the Colorful Daegu Festival! Please take a look at the information below. 

▣ Summary of 2012 Colorful Daegu Festival

● Date: 2012. 10. 10(Wed) ~ 10. 16(Tue) <7days> 

● Venue: Jungangno, 2.28 Memorial Park, Gyeongsang Gamyeong Park, Dongseongno are

● Theme: Color, enjoy the festival!

● Slogan: Escape from your daily life and fill it with fashion!

● Host: Daegu Metropolitan City

   ● Supervise: Daegu Cultural Foundation, The office of 2012 Colorful Daegu Festival

▣ Summary of Parade Competition

● Date: 2012. 10. 13 (Sat) 18:30 ~ 22:00 

● Qualification: Any family, elementary school students, and kindergarten students

   ● Benefits

     - Participation support fund will be provided for 32 teams (28,000,000KRW in total)

     - Souvenirs will be provided

     - If you win the competition, you should participate in the ‘Colorful Tonight’ program on October 14^th (Sat) from 18:30 to 22:00 in Jungangno

  ● Rules

     -  Parade contents shouldn’t be destructive to the fine customs of Daegu City

     - Costumes, ornaments, shoes, glasses, hairs, masks, should be related to the Fashion theme

▣ How to participate?

  ● You should register by September 27th (Thursday) 6pm for participation 

  ● Call 053-422-0996 for registration

  ● We need the following information of the participants

     : Contact info, numbers of the group, contents of your parade (Costumes, ornaments, masks, and dance)

▣ Evaluation and Awards

  ● Evaluation spot: at some major posts on the marching course

  ● Judge: Artistic directors and specialist (5people)

  ● Evaluation standards

      - Creativity (40points): how well used costumes, ornaments, tools and other stuff

- Completeness (20points): how well directed to fit the theme

      - Participation (20points): how many members do you have in your group

- Respond (20points): how much respond do you get from the audiences

 ● Awards ceremony will be held after the marching

     ※ Awards can be canceled if there isn’t any suitable winner.

     ※ Winning prize will be provided after-tax

▣ Orientation

● After registration, orientation schedule will be informed individually.

▣ Notices

   ● We will take pictures and videos of the parade and will use them for the purpose of city promotion.

   ● When you use published images, you should receive permission and should use only for the parade. 
      You are responsible for all copyright issues.
