Be intoxicated by the fragrance of roses. It’s the season for roses blooming. Roses have at last fully blossomed into majestic beauty at the end of May.
The 2015 Rose Festival will be held from May 22nd to 23rd.
There is a place which one can see rose flowers with bare eyes, sniff its scent and experience through body. That is, Rose Garden in Igok Fountain Park located in Dalseogu of Daegu.
Music performances and various events in booths are prepared during the rose festival.
Especially, the most noticeable booth will be tasting rose flower tea.

Igok Fountain Park, which opened on June, 2009, has a rose garden. You can visit here by walking toward Seongseo High School for 10 minutes after getting off from Line 2 of Daegu subway or take a ride of Bus (305, 405, 503, 521, 527, 655, 509, Dalseo 2, Dalseo 3, Seongseo 1-1) toward Igok Fountain Park.
There are seventeen thousand roses and the Rose Festival takes place annually in May.
