Make memories in Daegu where heart-touching guitar melodies and music are played.
Daegu, with a firm image as a performing culture city, provides attractions and enjoyment to people through their various summer festivals in July.
There would also be a folk and acoustic music festival where music that stimulates the analogue emotions amidst the K-POP fever will be showcased.
There would be performances of Korea’s famous singers, busking, and acoustic flea markets in the event location of this festival. The folk song contest would be held within the festival period where amateur artists and ordinary people can participate. Also, folk music would be playing in the monorail(Daegu subway line 3) that was opened recently.
Through the 1st Daegu Folk Festival, Daegu will establish the reputation of Kim Gwang-seok who was a Korean folk rock singer as a representative of Daegu and make folk music known to citizens. Daegu strives to become a city of concert and culture.

It's 15 min walk from the exit 3 of Gamsam Station or exit 14 of Duryu Station, subway line 2.
If you go to the concert hall from Dongdaegu station by taxi, it will take you about 30 mins and cost 11,000 won.
