Jay coffee: A Unique Bingsu place in Daegu
Summer in Daegu has been very hot this year but there is a way to beat the heat!
Bingsu(빙수) is a Korean traditional dessert, perfect for these sunny days in the city. Bingsu is made basically with shaved ice, and there are many variations of toppings such as chopped fruits and sweets. In Daegu, Bingsu can be found in almost every cafe, that is why the cafes try to make a unique Bingsu dish to help them stand out from the rest.
Jay Coffee prepares a delicious pineapple Bingsu, among other flavors. The cafe has a very cozy, atmosphere perfect for hanging around with friends, family, or even colleagues.

The menu at Jay Coffee has a great variety, from tea variations to natural juices and of course the delicious Bingsu. The pineapple version is a "doll" dessert, mixing shaved ice, ice cream and the fruit in small balls. The dessert is enough for two people, but you also can order handmade cakes or cookies which are perfect with the Bingsu.
The staff at Jay Coffee is very kind and always ready to help you to choose the best option of Bingsu or any other dish or beverage. It is totally recommendable to go to this coffee shop if you are around the northwest zone of the city.
Before or after going to taste the pineapple Bingsu at Jay, you can also go to the nice waterfall located 100m at the north of Jay´s. A perfect location for relaxing and avoiding the hot summer in the city.
