Samgyupsal is the most popular type of meat
that Korean consumes. Expats and tourists also love grilled crispy samgyupsal.
Many of them already know they need to wrap a piece in a cabbage with a bit of
soy bean paste to get the great taste of it. What a lot of people don’t know
is, however, the combination of samgyupsal and Daegu dropwort! It’s oh-so
delightful food experience with unique fragrance of dropwort enhancing the
overall tastes to a different level! It's spring only delicacy!
Where can I find Daegu dropwort AND Samgyupsal
Places?
There are mainly two dropwort(minari 미나리) areas: Palgonsan Mountain and Hwawon area.
Both of them are near Daegu’s popular tourist attractions. One thing you need
to note is that farms sell only the dropwort and side dishes. You should bring
your own Samgyupsal! BYOS!

How does it work?
Basically, you order dropwort by bundle. Usually, people order a bundle of
dropwort, which is enough amount for a group of people to eat with Samgyupsal.
The server will bring side dishes and utensils for you. You pay for the side dishes by the number of people in your group! The
side dishes include garlic and ssamjang(soy bean based paste) Some farms sell everything
you need even samgyupsal. So make sure to ask them which things they sell before
you decide to take a seat and order! Bringing
samgyupsal will give your more options to choose from, though!
